Our Story
It all began while Rose and J, founders of the company, were kayaking in New Zealand, a long shot away from Alaska where they’d met. This was Rose’s home country and she wanted to take her husband to places far away from the hustle and bustle of the world where one had time to reflect on the past and the future; mainly the future.
They pooled their resources: Rose, full of adventure, creativity and vision; J, practical and down-to-earth, a man who can transform a vision into reality. In short, they complement each other ideally. Fertile ground for new ventures…
On the sparkling waters of the Marlborough Sounds, inspired by the abundance of nature, an idea was borne. They would combine their skills to invent and create a very carefully selected range of meaningful objects that were unique and beautiful, fun and functional. Products that stand out and add a special touch to the daily routines of life, or to special occasions.
Over time the product range took shape. Each product has a unique story behind it which Rose and J will tell you one day when you meet them somewhere in the world.
